They are all professional musicians, born with the Cuban music, and worked with many others groups until they decided to form La Ley del Son in 2004. The band will be performing in Europe in summer 2008 again, after 2 successful tours through continental Europe in 2006 and 2007, f.i. on the famous Salsa boat of the Festival in Montreux/ Switzerland or during a whole week on various locations in Antwerpen/Belgium. In 2007 they could conquer Spain when they first played on the Plaza de Espana in Madrid and some weeks later at a festival in Alicante. They also made their first trip to Finland to play in a famous salsa club.

What makes La Ley del Son music special is this mixture of tradition of Cuban music and modernity: many songs have been written and componed by Pablo Reynoso, the bandleader, himself. Moreover the two trombones, quite seldom in small Cuban bands, ad a very special and strong touch to this Sonora.
