Young singer-songwriter Dani Larkin is considered one of the rising stars of the Irish alternative folk scene. Her critically acclaimed debut album, Notes For A Maiden Warrior, was released in 2021 and earned her two nominations – Best Album and Newcomer of the Year – at the recent Northern Ireland Music Prize and RTE Folk Awards. Dani has performed at numerous festivals and has been invited to share the stage with Snow Patrol, Hothouse Flowers and Rufus Wainwright, and is praised for her captivating live performances. The guitarist, who grew up on the border of Counties Armagh and Monaghan, draws inspiration from timeless traditional rhythms and melodies.
