Throat singing, hypnotic rhythms of percussion, ancient pagan instruments and dead languages, but, above all, a hauntingly dark atmosphere.
Nemuer is an ambient folk project based in Prague and focusing on atmospheric compositions inspired from mythological themes. In order to keep the atmosphere utterly immersive, they use solely authentic dead languages. Nemuer concerts include throat singing and overtones, hypnotic rhythms of drums, ancient and medieval instruments, fog, dark drones, candles, and video projections.
