In 2020, back in Brazil, Lili released "Dájazz", in which she presents original songs and partnerships with the songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alegre Corrêa, her longtime musical partner and friend. They met in Vienna the year 2005 and have been composing together ever since. Their songs were also recorded by other performers, and, as of yet, more than 30 songs they wrote remain unreleased.
Besides Alegre Corrêa on drums, guitar, vocal, arrangements and musical codirection, “DÁJAZZ” counts with pianist Salomão Soares, highlight in the Brazilian musical scene, the bass player Rodrigo Lúcio, and Henrique Band on wind instruments and arrangements. Also, the project has a featured participation of another of Lili’s musical partner’s: singer, songwriter and instrumentalist François Muleka.
Recorded live in March 2019, “DÁJAZZ” was released as an EP on digital platforms in early October that same year. The complete album was released in March 2020.
“DÁJAZZ” is a mix of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), “Bossa nova” and “Samba-jazz” with a jazzy language that incorporates all three solo works signed by the artist previously.
Lili has acted with artists such as João Donato, Alegre Corrêa, François Muleka, Delia Fischer, Salomão Soares, others.
