Luis Delgado has a large musical spectrum which covers several ranges as multi-instrumentalist, performer, arranger, sound engineer, composer and producer. He has composed music for cinema, television, ballet, theatre and Madrid Planetarium. His passion for music has carried him to found an instruments museum in Urueña (Valladolid) with more than thousand pieces.

With Nubenegra Luis Delgado has published three albums inspired in Arabic-Andalusian poetry of the Spanish middle Ages, El sueño de Al-Zaqqâq, El hechizo de Babilonia and Tánger. This last album has been recorded live with Morocco and Spanish musicians and also has been presented in theatres, festivals, and a lot of concerts halls. Tánger represents one of the most original Oriental music albums ever recorded in Spain.

In 2005 the cinema’s director Ridley Scott has selected three themes from “El sueño de Al-Zaqqâq” album to be included in Kingdom of Heaven’s soundtrack.
