NYE NOR is a truly independent record label with a well-established position on the Norwegian scene. The catalogue counts 200 releases (2021). NYE NOR have presented a steady stream of high-quality Norwegian folk-, jazz-, impro- and world music titles and represents the top rank of Norwegian musicians. NYE NOR’s goal has always been to present quality music to quality music listeners, and to give promising young musicians a chance to make their debut as recording artists. Those who create and listen to music would agree that we have consistently maintained our reputation as the record company that cares more about the music than the sales.
