Computambor is a cooperative project between percussionist Marcos Suzano and drummer Marcelo Vig that brings together organic and electronic beats creating a unique and involving sound.
Brazilian and african sounds merge in an electronic musi environment, performed live with drums pandeiro, alfaia (both natural skins) and other types of percussion, acoustic and electronic. Vig and Suzano share a common passion for drums, for electronic music and the endless possibilities for mixing these sound textures, which they already use in their respective solo works.

Marcos Suzano has been working as a professional musician for more than 30 years and has worked with many legends of music such as Sting, Djavan, Gilberto Gil, Ney Matogrosso, Andt Sumers, Nana Vasconcellos, Miyazawa Kazufumi, Marisa Monte, Paulo Moura amongst many others.
He was director of PercPan: Panorama Percussivo in Brazil, for 9 years, and promotes pandeiro and percussion workshops across the Globe having taught lessons in Mannys School of Music, (NY, USA) Den Haag Conservatory (Amsterdam) Tamburi Mundi (Freiburg/Germany) and so many other events in various countries such as Portugal, Japan, Denmark…
Suzano has released 3 solo albums and took part in hundreds of other tracks as an session musician.

Marcelo Vig spent the last 15 years between Rio de Janeiro and London and has worked with great artists from both sides of the Atlantic as a session player such as, Eminem, Avril Lavigne, Will Smith, Lenine, Gilberto Gil, Gabriel Moura, Kelly Rowland, Patrick Wolf amongst others. Vig has played, as a drummer, in festivals such as Glastonbury, V Festival, Benicassim, Rock in Rio, as well as a support act for Amy Winehouse US tour in 2007 drumming for Patrick Wolf.
Vig has released both a solo album and an EP for which he was nominated for Best Electronic Music Artist in Brazil in 2017 and 2018, as well as a short European tour in 2017.

The Computambor Project was created in the second half of 2017 and is aimed at the circulation of these two experienced artists both in Brazil and the rest of the world bringing a truly unique musical and sensory experience. It has a temporary and itinerant character taking its impacting sound to people who are passionate about music everywhere.

Marcos and Marcelo had the honor of opening the MIDEM – First Edition in Rio de Janeiro, 2018 Brazil. Midem now takes on a new endeavour through a dedicated long-term programme called “The Midem Latin American Forum”, which aims to establish stronger bridges between latin-american and international professionals, contribuiting with the structuring of local and regional music ecosystems as well as international businesses in Latin America.
