Outer Space returns from their intergalactic tours to present their second album, “Into the
Unknown” (251 Productions, 2018). Seven musicians hailing from Barcelona keep on hitting
the stages to share new emotions and grooves. Ten new compositions full of Groove, Soul, Afro-
American rhythms, Ethiopian melodies and hypnotic harmonies. The bands influence basks in
the sounds of Ethio-Jazz founded by 60s music guru Mulatu Astatke. The characteristic melodies
of Ethiopian tradition sends us to the far reaches of East Africa.

In 2015 they recorded their first album “Chase Across Orion” (Tucxone Records, Madrid). The
record label seeks out black music made with respect for its origins. From the first moment they
fell in love with Outer Space and decided not only to include the band in their record label, but
they provided the band with an analog studio where the disc was recorded.

Outer Space live is an odyessy into layers of cosmic mantras put down beautifully sending the
listener into an astral catharsis. In other words they are going to blow your mind. An
experimental journey that Outer Space defines as Instrumental Afrosoul. Let yourself be seduced
by the mystery of the unknown.
