Playing the carnay and surnay is the national music art of Uzbek people. It gets on from father to son, from generation to generation, from teacher to pupil. It sounds at weddings, national holidays and other events.

The group "Navo" is constantly participated at regional and republican competitions and festivals of amateur performances.
