Peyoti for President

Peyoti for President is an international global-beats collective led by charismatic singer-songwriter and producer Pietro DiMascio. Originally formed in London and now splitting roots between Portugal and Belgium, the project delivers a seamless amalgam of ska, reggae, Latin, flamenco and punk, driven by infectious rhythms.

With strong musical comparisons to The Clash and Manu Chao, Peyoti for President has built a formidable live reputation across Europe, appearing at some of Europes most prestigious festivals and venues. We're proud to announce this new live chapter as a touring band, starting summer 2026.

“These guys want to party while they’re saving the world” — 5 STARS The Independent, UK

“The spirit of Manu Chao and the conscious fire of a modern beatnik” — Cultuur Mania / Cerberus, Belgium

"Uncompromising music to be listened to with your senses fully engaged” — Iggy Magazine, France

"Only Manu Chao, Amparanoia & very few others are getting politically / socially involved in such an accomplished way”
5 STARS : Album of the week : laut.de, Germany

“Activism wrapped in irresistible rhythm. An unapologetically a call to action. It’s a celebration but with teeth”
The Sound Cafe, Canada

Beyond the stage, the band’s music has featured in film, television, and documentaries—including the Netflix series Gentefied. Their activism-led single "Palestinian Children" garnered over 250,000 views, gaining coverage on DemocracyNow.org and used as part of the 'Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza' social media campaign.

Following the release of their 12-track album Your Comfort Zone (Sordid Soup Records / A-MAZ-ING Music) in 2025, Peyoti for President is debuting a new live line-up and updated management structure. The team is attending WOMEX to connect with festival programmers & booking agents (and potentially other partnerships) for European and international touring for 2027 and beyond.
