In the face of shifting political landscapes, restricted mobility—particularly from the Global South to the North—environmental crises, and decreasing arts funding, advocacy remains crucial to uphold and advance our global community’s values and mission. Advocacy, defined as the act of influencing decisions within political, economic, and social institutions, aims to shape public policy and raise awareness within civil society.

This session seeks to build on the actions and discussions held over the past editions, as well as the foundational work laid during last year’s
Cultural and Artistic Mobility Advocacy Summit.

Recognising the importance of advocacy, this year's program invites delegates to engage in an interactive session with focused group discussions on key issues, such as Artists at Risk, Sustainability, Fair Culture, Mobility and Funding.

This format aims to enable participants to share experiences and good practices, develop effective advocacy strategies, and create actionable plans to address the challenges and opportunities facing the cultural and artistic sectors.
Come, speak up and join forces!
