As the EU's future funding framework takes shape, what will it mean for music with an international and intercultural dimension? This high-level panel brings together key voices shaping AgoraEU — the European Union’s future core funding programme for cultural cooperation. During the session panellists will unpack where things currently stand, which open questions are still being negotiated and what is likely (or unlikely) to be implemented. How will diversity be embedded in the programme's design and delivery and what can the global music sector expect.

With austerity pressures putting cultural budgets at risk, this session will also offer practical guidance on how the music community can advocate at national level to secure the funding AgoraEU deserves. The panel closes on a forward-looking note with a first look at the upcoming Green Beat Nexus calls, set to launch in December 2026.
