Ahi Na'Ma presents the artistic and human encounter between Lindigo and Los Muñequitos giving rise to a musical chemistry. The Reunion Island and Cuban roots mingle, highlighting visible and invisible links between two cultures, two clans, two families of musicians. Artistic creation becomes part of a wider exchange, the one between two Creole universes separated by a sea and two oceans.
Laurent Benhamou joined Mondomix in 2002, the reference magazine of world cultures, where he made his first video productions. In 2008 he founded Crunk, his own audio-visual production company. In 2011 he realised his first feature documentary Croisées Métisses. Laurent currently alternates between production and direction of ads, music videos, in-house and promotional films, all of which have music as a running theme.
Valentin Langlois graduated in History and Ethnology in Paris. Before joining Hélico in 2006, he supervised the release of music discs of the World for Arion for ten years. He has also co-directed the documentaries Favela da Maré (2005), Creole Cousins (2011) and Very Aomby (2015). Valentin has been following the Lindigo group on the road since 2008.
Laurent Benhamou and Valentin Langlois will be present at WOMEX 18.
