The United States represents the world’s largest economy and the biggest consumer market for music. Touring the US presents an incredible opportunity — but also significant competition and challenges. This session takes a pragmatic 360° view of what it takes to enter the US market: visa costs, points of entry, building networks, leveraging your government and national community in the US, and how to develop a 2–5 year plan (because that’s often what it takes).
The views and opinions expressed during this session are solely those of the speaker(s) and do not necessarily reflect the policy or position of WOMEX.
