Welcome to the world premiere of this new brand new Danish quartet presenting music from across the contemporary music spectrum and influences from jazz, tango and folk music.

One of Denmark's foremost recorder players, Bolette Roed, has established this quartet blending the classical sound of the recorder with vibraphone, double bass and bandoneon. The Italian bandoneon player and composer Paolo Russo is based in Denmark, and for this Classical:NEXT occasion he has composed a new musical journey across Italian colours, contemporary Nordic landscapes and jazz improvisations, with a distant echo of Argentine tango.

'Imaginary Soundtrack' finds its inspiration in the magical world of film music. It is a courageous adventure with the vision of a view to presenting a soundtrack without a movie, inviting the audience to create in their own minds, while listening, their own images, characters, scenographies, cinemoatography and dialogues.
