Many choirs are frontrunners in connecting people, amateurs and professionals, art forms ... Europe alone counts 37 million choral singers, and in a world where artists are looking for cross-disciplinary collaborations, and where social cohesion is desperately needed, choral music has huge potential. It is cheap, extremely versatile, and it connects people on all levels.

Since 2010, Tenso (the network of European professional chamber choirs) has organised annual conferences for music professionals. In this seminar, we bring you the most outstanding results, challenges and benchmark examples of innovative choral projects that reach out to communities, create social cohesion, and create a new view on innovation within the arts, above and beyond choral music, and that will translate to other fields of classical music.
