Korea Arts Management Service has played an important part in presenting Korean artists since the 2009 Opening Night at WOMEX. This has made a huge difference in awareness of Korean music world-wide, stimulated by artists such as Dulsori, Geomungo Factory, Jambinai, SU:M and Noreumachi, all of whom were selected for official WOMEX showcases. Korea and China have established network platforms to connect with other markets and a new forum is on the way in Okinawa, Japan. Three countries with strong cultural connections sharing ideas on raising awareness of the region in the rest of the world. The panel of Patrick De Groote, Ryuji Noda, Jerome Williams and Ran Zhang will discuss their experiences and raise the question of what western artists could achieve in Far East Asia.
