From his studio in Berlin, David Fernández has created “(multi)touch me not!”, a music/video composition which addresses some of the paradoxes of the times we live in: we communicate throughout multitouch screens, but we can not touch each other. "Technology is the skin which separates us”, Fernández says.
With his project Ecce cello, the Spanish cellist and video artist bridges the gap between classical music and the technological world of today, pushing the interaction between music performance and technology to its limits. Revealing the alienation that technology implies, but highlighting at the same time the enormous communicative power it possesses.
