The first Classical:NEXT Online Global Orchestra Meet Up brought us up to date with status reports from various regions around the world, thanks to Mark Pemberton (ABO), Nathaly Ossa Alzate (AEOS), Katherine Carleton (Orchestras Canada), Philippe Fanjas (AFO), Jesse Rosen (LAO) as well as Rudolph Tang who reported from China.

When the floor opened, two key questions of universal relevance arose:

-How might we emerge from the pandemic with financial models that will make our institutions stronger and resilient; and
-How might we use the pandemic to create real and enduring change that creates gender balance and inclusivity so that our institutions are more reflective and connected to our communities?

Join us as we continue where we left off!
