Filmed just a month before the 2020 Beirut explosion, Enfin, la nuit pays tribute to the city’s legendary nightspot AHM, which was destroyed in the blast. Against a soundtrack by Charbel Haber and Fadi Tabbal, we experience a slice of Beirut's nocturnal culture as young people dance the night away. Slowly, these images fade, revealing the darkness that descends over a city destroyed. Months after the tragedy, we don't know which night this film captures, but we know it happened.

Nadim Tabet is a Lebanese film director and co-founder of the Lebanese Film Festival, held every two years in Beirut. In 2016, he directed his first feature film, One of These Days, and is currently preparing a new feature, Under Construction, as well as a series called Faraya.
