A screen made of 16 loudspeakers, a dancer, a double-bassist, a drummer. Exartikulations is a sensory exploration of the sound and visual prints of a form, a gesture, a movement, inspired by the graphic score Rainer Wehinger conceived while listening to Ligeti’s Artikulation. The dancing body, treated as an autonomous musical instrument, develops its own interpretation, questioning and confronting that of the two musicians while lighting and electronics engrave this dialogue into space.
