The global live music ecosystem is under increasing pressure. Visa rejections, border restrictions, rising travel costs, funding cuts, and structural inequities disproportionately affect artists from the global south, diasporic communities, and independent scenes. For many, international touring is becoming structurally exclusionary. As curators, promoters, agents, and managers, we must rethink how we collaborate, share risk, and build sustainable networks. This session invites an open, solution-driven exchange: How can we create cooperative touring circuits, share resources and guarantees, reduce visa risk, and support artists long-term? The aim is practical action — shared strategies, commitments, and collaboration.
