Over the last twenty years, Vincent Moon has been documenting the ephemeral nature of music creation and performance across many continents, capturing the vibrant diversity of the world's sonic communities and cultures on film. On the occasion of the launch of Vincent's astounding online audiovisual archive, he will discuss his work with Songlines editor Russ Slater Johnson.
Vincent Moon is an independent filmmaker and sound explorer who has been making films for the past twenty years, travelling around the world in quest for sounds, from stadium rock to shamanic rituals. Russ Slater Johnson is the editor at Songlines Magazine.
