The concept of safer spaces emerged from activist, LGBTQ+ and feminist movements and has found its way into event spaces to prevent violence and discrimination and provide support. This session will offer a brief introduction to the history, fundamentals and basics of the concept and discuss actionable areas for music industry professionals and address questions from participants.
