Research on millennials indicates their need for social, context, community, and diversity of product. We can meet those needs by adding art, theater, video, lighting, audio enhancements, food and beverage to our concerts and/or building a 360 degree online experience.

If we do not evolve and meet their preferences, ballet, opera, musical theatre and museum nights will dominate the market by providing compelling visuals and a diverse set of offerings. Museums have another edge – millennials want the freedom to consume culture at a pace they set, not on the pace that we dictate in the concert hall.
