Lula Mora were formed in 2022 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife by Sara Caride and Silvia Izquierdo, with a vision to combine music and poetry and build bridges between their two cultural and geographical identities: Galicia and the Canary Islands. In 2025 the vision took shape in their first album, Hogar — a concept album telling a story, sung and recited in Galician and Spanish, in which their harmonious voices move through the shifting moods of guitars, ukuleles, double bass and atmospheric keyboards. On stage, Lula Mora combine music and theatre, with stories drawing on personal experiences of encounters, change, hope and sisterhood, reflecting on belonging, migratory processes and personal roots. The show has won acclaim at festivals including LXXI Festa do Albariño in Galicia, Fibra Sonora and LalaMusic Fest.
