Today, Duke Ellington's composition "Things ain't what they used to be" is more relevant than ever. Covid-19 changed our reality drastically. Everything indicates it will accompany us for a long, long time.
Big institutions like symphony orchestras and opera houses are carefully launching their Covid-19 proof projects and updated strategies.
The situation for small & mid-sized ensembles is totally different from theirs: different funding, most work with freelance musicians and have no infrastructure of their own.
This Meet Up focuses on two topics:
- how to stay connected with audiences while not performing on stage?
- financial strategies to survive.
This Meet Up can only be successful with openness and the sharing of ideas, needed today more than ever.
