This session will bring together four interesting speakers to share their experiences of festivals in their respective countries. Dr. Bob Ramdhanie will chair the session in which Paolo Sgevano (Italy), Mamou Daffé (Mali) and Sigrid Yanara Palacios Castillo (Colombia) will talk about social development and entrepreneurship. Paolo (Frame Evolution) will explore these topics in discussing "Italian Folk Festivals"; Mamou (Fondation Festival sur le Niger) will talk about "The entrepreneurship Model of the Festival sur le Niger" and Sigrid (Foundation Alliance "Bantú Cali) will discuss how music festivals are an important part of Afro-Colombian social development.
