Classical:NEXT was born out of the simple idea to bring the diverse scenes of classical music together and offer them a forum to exchange and develop new ideas. That was in 2011. Since then, over 4,000 art classical music professionals representing 2,000 companies from more than 45 countries have engaged with Classical:NEXT. In this Network Meeting, WOMEX attendees who are active in or want to engage with variations on the western classical music theme will meet and discuss today’s burning issues and tomorrow’s paths forward.
