Panorama Yerevan – The Rock Edition is the first experimental documentary film in the series of short cinematic insights into Armenian music. It tells a story of the development of Armenia's rock scene from the Soviet time, the censorship obstacles it endured and the nostalgia behind it, featuring interviews with the most renowned bands and scene representatives of that time. It tells the story of community building and showcases rising Armenian rock talents.
Lucia Kagramanyan is a Vienna-based artist of Armenian origin. She is a radio host, DJ, and music researcher/ethnomusicologist. The documentary series is the visual extension of her show that showcases Armenian music across genres and epochs called Panorama Yerevan on NTS Radio.
