Yet many of these remain under-documented and under-monetised due to weak publishing and rights management structures. This session explores strategies for preserving and commercialising these genres, ensuring that artists, songwriters, and producers benefit from their cultural contributions. Industry experts will discuss navigating the global copyright system, digital tracking, and international licensing opportunities – empowering attendees with actionable steps to secure and expand the economic value of Caribbean music in today’s evolving global market.
