Inspired by the grass-roots efforts of Wapapura, this panel is aimed at people who have an interest in connecting music and the environment.

Given the reality of climate change, it's vital that we use technology to lead us in a positive, more sustainable direction and music can be a powerful tool to draw attention and engage people to help make that happen.

It's now possible to stage performances in some of the most remote locations in the world while remaining respectful of the environment and, with currently developing technology, be webcast in real-time around the world.

Let’s learn from people who are trying to transform this concept into a movement, connecting art-making within the natural environment and bringing it to your living room. A movement that, on its own, might not change the world, but can certainly support efforts and motivate people working towards furthering a more respectful relationship with the planet through art.
