The band “Light in Babylon” was founded in 2010 and since then has been performing regularly in the streets of Istanbul. The project fuses different ethnicities and cultures. The singer is Israeli from Iranian origin, the santur player is Turkish and the guitarist is French. Despite the political tensions in Middle East affecting the daily life of the musicians, the band is highly creative. The documentary follows the young musicians through the city of Istanbul, this fascinating metropolis on two continents, providing an incomparable link between Occident and Orient.
