PAM takes you to Cameroon to meet Steve Happi, a producer and sound engineer who has set up a recording studio in Douala’s central prison. Co-founder of the Jail Time Records label, he continues to use music to give hope to prisoners and as a means of reinsertion for those who make it out. Dione Roach is a visual artist and the founder and director of Jail Time Records, the first record label created and operating from inside an African prison. She believes culture and creativity are one of the most powerful tools for both social and individual development.
