The classical recording industry is at a profound point of change. For the listener, streaming is a great way of finding and hearing music. For labels, however, it is a source of opportunity (reaching new audiences, crossing boundaries between genres) but also great challenge (how to make money, and thus how to fund future recordings).

But opportunity or challenge – or indeed both – streaming is here to stay, and for a generation now already in their mid 20s it's simply the norm. This panel session will take an open and honest look about just what impact streaming is having on the recording industry, and at how some labels have addressed the issue.
