The Classical:NEXT 2021 Opening is presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, curated and produced by Louis Siu with artistic director Fung Lam.
Hong Kong/TAKEOFF will unveil the latest in Hong Kong’s classical music scene through a 45-minute journey of the NEXT - Nostalgic, Energetic, eXciting and Technological. The stage of De Doelen Concert Hall will be the runway for taking off on a refreshing musical journey with windows looking out to the past and the present, the East and the West, the potential and the possibilities of Hong Kong’s music making, underpinning the city’s position as Asia’s cultural hub.
