Through a succession of portraits, dance and music shape Eulália's journey from a country girl into a woman who fights for her place in the world. Set in Santo Tirso, Portugal, the film follows the anxieties and dilemmas that affect her family relationships, while revealing how they are intertwined with the region's historical development.

Alexandra Barbosa is a Portuguese filmmaker and visual artist. She studied at the Artistic School Soares dos Reis and later at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Her work spans documentary, experimental cinema, performance, and dance film, and has been presented at festivals and artistic residencies across Portugal, including the award-winning short documentary Camel Toe and the dance film The Colors of Water (As Cores da Água) (2021)
