This session follows up on last year’s lively and valuable panel ‘Passing on the Tradition’ about the ways in which the world music community thinks about keeping musical legacies and traditions alive alongside issues of cultural appropriation and artist and industry roles and responsibilities. This year’s exchange will again open the floor to you, the experts in the room, and engage artists, managers, programmers, labels, media and others, to explore this important topic on multiple levels.
