The corona pandemic presents society, politics and the economy, ultimately each and every one of us, with unprecedented and previously unsolved challenges. This also applies to creative people in the music and event industry. Digital transformation processes are progressing at breakneck speed and it is becoming increasingly clear that the comprehensive, previously postponed digitalisation and virtualisation of the music industry will not only be a temporary emergency solution in times of crisis, but will also offer great potential for musicians and the event industry as a whole. It is time to overcome our hesitation.
