Our online cinematic offering continues this month with a special feature - an indie musical! The Adventures of Angosat was written and performed by rapper and activist Isis Hembe, one of the most renowned Angolan urban artists. Directed by Resem Verkron, who is part of some of the most exciting cultural movements in Luanda, and award-winning filmmaker and author Marc Serena, the one-shot feature gathers a group of protagonists who retell the story of the lost first Angolan satellite.
Starting this Friday, 27 February until Sunday, 8 March, all WOMEX 25 delegates will be able to stream the film:
