Among the many changes at Classical:NEXT, we send our well wishes and goodbyes to Jennifer Dautermann. After more than 10 years as director, Jennifer is making her own transitions, stepping back and taking on new challenges. Reflecting on her work and dedication, Jennifer says:

"Over the past decade, while connecting across regions and across sectors, we have seen how much we can learn from each other. In 2021, even more so than in 2011, the professional art music scene needs to gather strength. Knowledge is power. Classical:NEXT exists to give the global scene the power of shared knowledge and shared strength.

My deep thanks go out to the Piranha Arts team - Classical:NEXT now rests fully in their hands. They believe firmly in it, as do I.”

Jennifer's new projects will continue to focus on the innovation and global collaboration of art music and we wish her the very best and much success in her endeavours!
