Releasing Today: Full Jury Selected Showcase + Club Summit + Regional: Horizons Stage Artists
A couple of weeks ago, we announced the first wave of Jury-selected Showcase artists for our milestone—the 30th-anniversary edition of WOMEX. Today, we are excited to reveal the complete lineup for the Jury-selected Showcases, Horizons Stage (the Regional stage), and the Club Summit artists. To date, the upcoming 30th edition of WOMEX this October features 47 acts representing 37 countries, not including the offWOMEX line-up, the Opening programme artists and the WOMEX Award recipients, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Official Jury-selected Showcase Artists
The official programme is put together from the pool of proposals that are received from around the world during an open call for submissions - open to any artist residing in any country worldwide. Altogether more than 1900 conferences, showcases, and film proposals were received. The official programme is curated together by the annually changing independent and international WOMEX Jury.

Club Summit
The Club Summit at WOMEX is a dedicated programme focusing on electronic music and club culture. It showcases DJs and electronic music artists who blend traditional music with contemporary electronic sounds and are pushing the boundaries of world music in club settings, creating unique and innovative performances.

The Regional Stage: Horizons Stage
Continuing the annual tradition of representing and supporting talents from the host country and its connections, this year's WOMEX regional stage is called: 'Horizons'. Nine artists will perform live at Albert Hall in Manchester representing the nations of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The WOMEX 24 Horizons Stage artists were chosen by a panel of music industry professionals following an open call for applications earlier this year.
The Horizons partnership - comprising Arts Council England, Culture Ireland, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Creative Scotland, Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Wales, British Council and British Underground - was founded over 10 years ago at WOMEX 13 in Cardiff, the last time the UK & Ireland hosted this major event.
