With around eight weeks to go, WOMEX, the Worldwide Music Expo, released today the full list of Jury-selected showcase artists along with the confirmed line-up for the Club Duna (our regional focus stage) and the first of the offWOMEX artists.
Together with this year's local partner Hangvető, the WOMEX team is exploring online digital solutions and resources for artists and speakers who are unable to travel to Budapest due to travel restrictions. Artists performing live on-site will vary from the full Jury selection released today, because of these inevitable restrictions; however, our programme will be balanced with world-class artists from the EU and other regions permitted to travel.
Yet to be released in the next couple of weeks are the Opening artists, the Artist Award and the Professional Excellence Award recipients for WOMEX 20.
