With the call for proposals currently open, once again, we have invited seven representatives of the global music community to join the WOMEX Jury, otherwise known as the famous seven Samurai, to go through all of your beautiful proposals. As always five Samurai will put together this year's showcase festival line-up and two Samurai will select the conference programme. The Jury members each bring unparalleled experience to the table along with diverse perspectives into new developments and trends in all facets of music.
The five showcase Samurai for 2015 are (in alphabetical order):

- Marta Dobosz (Poland), Cross Culture Festival
- Andras Lelkes (Hungary), Hangveto
- Jerome Williams (The Netherlands), Earth Beat
- Minna Zhou (USA), radio producer/DJ & writer
The two conference Samurai for 2015 are (in alphabetical order):

- Mehmet Dede (Turkey/USA), Drom
