Jamestown Ferry - a ferry boat in Virginia crossing the river James, a song by Tanya Tucker and the name of Berlin born and raised Doreen & Maik Wolter as a duo.
The gentle and pleasant way they present their musical program, using acoustic guitars, mandolin, 5-string-banjo, bodhran, udu drum, cajon and their two perfectly matching voices, catches the audience world wide.
Since starting out playing as Jamestown Ferry in 1995, they have been playing all over Germany, in Denmark (Country Festival, Silkeborg), in Switzerland, in Sweden, in Russia (1995 in St. Petersburg and Moscow, in 2007 in Moscow as featured artists at the 11th St. Patrick's Day Festival. They have been to Ireland, Scotland, Nashville TN.
