The Moni Ovadia Stage Orchestra, authentic witness of this repertoire, sets out on a journey through music and tales illustrating the Hebrew condition of exile as a possible form of freedom. The program is based on songs traditionally performed by Jews from the yiddishkeit, small villages of Eastern Europe. A variegated musical world in which irony and bitterness, lyricism and popular dances are alternated and intensified by the interpretation of Moni Ovadia, the renowned actor and singer key figure of the Jewish culture in Italy.
