The 'PELERINAJ - PILGRIMAGE' project, "is first and foremost part of a personal approach," Erol Josue told The microphone of Dangelo Néard in Koze Kilti.

For ten years, the artist set out to criss-cross Haiti's cities in order to bring out the best facets, from an artistic point of view.
In collaboration with other artists and arrangers, the dancer and singer Erol Josue proposes " PELERINAJ" / "Pilgrimage" which is a book-disc in which we find 14 musical pieces, excerpts from certain encounters with craftsmen, choreographies, to name but a few.

Erol Josué who coined the term, Pioneered Electro-Vodou (2006) a new genre along with DJ Val Jeanty, in 2006.
Erol is an active Vodou priest, singer, dancer, educator and expert on Haitian Vodou's culture and history, using his prodigious talents on a mission to change the stereo-typically negative image of the religion – even amongst his fellow Haitians – and share the vital message of respect for the natural world embodied in Vodou practice. An undeniably charismatic figure on stage, he utilises his sonorous tenor voice and dynamic dancing ability as he reshapes Vodou songs into sweeping, intimate ballads or jazz and funk structures propelled by the ancient rhythms of Vodou dance. When not captivating audiences worldwide as a performer he is busy in his position as Director of Haiti's National Bureau of Ethnology, as well as fulfilling roles as cultural ambassador, historian and healer at universities and institutions across the United States.
