Set up in 2004, the band was first nicknamed The Jungle Rock Band, reminding its link to the big forest and rock music.
A three boys’ band from childhood at their first, the band came soon to work with a bass man.
The first album, « we call Bwete » is released one year later and is awarded «SPECIAL JURY PRIZE» during the BALAFON first musical contest held in Gabon in 2006.
Though « PROPHECY », their second release was to rocket the band in the charts. The smash hit single from the album, « Sweet Africa » backed by an energizing video will be a revelation for the gabonese and african audience (BENIN, SOUTH AFRICA, SENEGAL...) DOBI MUSIC : a kind of african pop music.
In every square of Libreville you can hear the tune. TV and radio are pushing to echo the tune.
In april 2007, « Sweet africa » arranged by Edgar yonkeu is awarded with a Golden Balafon in the second musical contest held in 2007.
Boosted by its fame, the band, having found its genuine musical flavor is releasing a new single arranged and co written by Edgar Yonkeu (Patience Dabany producer and a good friend of Jacob DESVARIEUX) genuine don of African groove.
The Bass lines are played by Guy TSANGUE (main KASSAV’ bass man). The video shot in the hottest places of the town is strong with a shared energy.
Between two weeks, the single MADIANA turned to be a Smash Hit. The tours went strong and the previous tour into Gabon’s provinces « against children mistreatment » confirms the band as the First musical band from Gabon.
