Daniel Drexler, like his 5 years older brother Jorge, started making music already as a child. His musical career began retarded, though, since he decided to follow the family's tradition and studied medicine.
Today he's both an excellent otorhinolaryngologist and an outstanding musician.
His first album, La Llave En La Puerta, was released in 1998. His success continued in 2001 with Full Time, his second production, which took him all across Latin America from Buenos Aires to Cuba.
On his third and most recent disc, Vacio, produced by Matias Cella, Daniel was supported by his brother, Jorge Drexler, the well-known uruguayan artist Fernando Cabrera and by Kevin Johansen and Hugo Fatorusso, two other famous musicians of the music scene of the Rio de la Plata.
