With more than one million streams on Spotify, JUDITH MATEO has established herself as the only female rock violinist in Spain. In October 2018 not only did she publish her new studio record, “Radiestesia” but she also published her first book “101 canciones con las que te ligarías a cualquiera” (Planeta Ediciones).
About her first endeavour as an author she claims that “there is no better way to start a conversation than talking about music, especially when you hardly know the other person and you gon’t know how to break the ice”. In this book she has picked 101 songs, full of funny trivia but also personal stories, that will help you not only discover new musical genres and artists but also to get hooked up with someone should the occasion arise. Judith Mateo is a true violin rock star as we can find out in her album “Radiestesia”, a daring effort to give a new twist and a new dimension to genres such as classical, rock, funk, pop, and celtic music.
